Women in Aviation – TV Story
This story won the OMNI Television Award for its theme of women representation in the trades industry, specifically the aviation industry.
Guide Dog – TV Story
This television story is about a woman’s childhood dog who died, but it didn’t stop her from extending that love with a guide dog to ultimately help others.
Pinnacle Award Winning Story – Homestays: Haven or Hell
I pitched this “best general news story” division IV in North America. I worked extensively with my reporters, conducted interviews and provided the photos. Sports comment: Should the iconic Vancouver Grizzlies jerseys be showcased at a Memphis Grizzlies game?
Voicer: There is a new way to get around Vancouver. Lime Scooters launched their e-scooters program in East Van, with first-of-its-kind parking docks.
Rant: The Vancouver Park Board is in the beginning stages of placing temporary water fountains, bottle filling and hand washing stations in specific locations that help those most vulnerable to extreme heat as the summer months are approaching.
